MIBE Admission to DD Pavia programme

The LUT Business School will select a maximum of 5 students for the MIBE double degree program with the University of Pavia. In case of more than 5 acceptable applicants, the places will be granted in the order of academic success during applicant’s LUT B.Sc. studies and studies taken in MIBE programme.

The DD program is aimed for the MIBE students who would apply to DD program during the spring semester of their first year of studies. The DD program would take place during the second year of the studies.

Students admitted into the Double degree program receive a degree certificate from both universities provided that they fulfill the requirements of both universities.

Admission criteria from LUT to University of Pavia in 2025-26 Interested students are asked to contact LUT International Services, outgoing@lut.fi. Application process should be completed in LUT Mobility-Online during the application period. Only after MIBE programme has nominated the DD-students, the applicants must submit their applications to Pavia. Students recommended by LUT apply directly to Pavia according to instructions given separately.

Students eligible to apply for the double degree must have approved study right in LUT MIBE programme.

Proficiency in English

Students applying for the DD-programme are required to present a language test certificate. One of the following English language tests with the respective minimum scores is required:

• TOEFL – 90 iBT
• IELTS – 6.5
• Cambridge CAE-C (CPE)

However, the language test result in English is not required if the Master’s Programme in the partner university is fully taught in English.
