Mukkulankatu 19 - Parking at Isku Center from 1 February 2026

Parking is organized by Isku Center. Parking on campus is charged for both staff and students.

Short term visitor parking 

Isku Center P1 parking area in front of the campus building is reserved for short-term visitor parking.  All visitor parking spaces are with charge and all visitors will use a parking application. Download the app before arriving in the area. 

Short-term visitor parking in the P1 area can be paid via eParking, EasyPark, Moovy and Parkman. The first hour will be free of charge with all applications. 

Electric vehicle charging will still be purchased via the eParking application. The heating posts in the P1 area may also be used for slow charging of electric vehicles via the eParking application.

Long‑term area parking permits

Long‑term area parking permits for staff and students are still purchased through the eParking application with HAKA user. More detailed prices and locations can be found in the eParking app.

Student parking: Long-term parking permits P3

Mukkulankatu 19 - Parking at Isku Center will be renewed as of 1 February 2026

Students parking permits for the P3 area are reserved in the eParking system and login is done with HAKA user. 

Existing parking permits that have already been purchased will remain valid until the end of the paid period. 

Open-ended parking permits will end at the beginning of February 1st 2026, and users must purchase a new parking right via the eParking application.

Students can park in the P2 and P3 areas free of charge on weekdays after 4pm and during weekend all day.

Parking on Isku Center areas P2-P7 parking is permitted only with long-term parking permit. If you do not have a permit, parking is allowed only in area P1 and must be registered via app.

Niemenkatu 73

When arriving at the Niemenkatu building on the Lahti campus, LUT/LAB staff and students have free parking available at the sand field at Laatikkotehtaankatu 2. The closest entrance is through the pedestrian crossing at door B2 (open 7:45 a.m.–4:00 p.m.). At door B2, there is a ParkkiPate device where you must enter your registration number. You can only park in the Laatikkotehtaankatu parking area on days when you are studying or teaching at Niemenkatu.

Electric car charging at M19 building: The charging points work through the eParking application. Charging electric cars costs €0.25/kWh, parking for first hour will be free of charge and then 1€/hour. The heating posts in the P1 area may also be used for slow charging of electric vehicles via the eParking application with cost €0.18/kWh.
