HIIT
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is an intense class! The pace is high, your heart rate is high, and rest periods are short. The class consists mostly of various bodyweight movements. If you like pushing yourself, this is the class for you! The HIIT workout lasts for 45 minutes including a short warm up. You can also warm up on your own before the class.

Body Care
The body care class helps to recover, increase mobility and flexibility, and improve body control. The class also utilizes various equipment, for example a foam roll, a ball and a stick. Body Care class is suitable for everyone. We also recommend the class as a restorative exercise for those who exercise a lot.

Soft Blend Yoga
Soft Blend Yoga is a gentle group exercise class that combines movement with the wellbeing of both body and mind. In the classes, we practice a variety of asanas and sequences influenced by hatha, flow, and yin yoga. For the opening and closing relaxation, you may bring a blanket or extra clothing if you wish. Welcome to start your week with a calming and restorative 60-minute yoga practice.

Kettlebell
In the kettlebell class, your whole body muscles will definitely get a workout! This 45-minute session develops muscular endurance as well as the cardiovascular system. The main equipment used is the kettlebell. You don’t need to bring your own, as kettlebells of different weights are available in the training space. Please let the instructor know at the beginning of the class if you have any physical limitations, so they can guide you with suitable exercises. The class is suitable for all fitness levels.

Mobility
In the mobility class, different aspects of mobility are practiced in a versatile way. The mobility and stretching techniques used in the class include:
- functional mobility training
- contract-relax methods
- neural tissue mobilization
- ballistic (pumping) stretching
- active/passive static mobility exercises
- active/passive dynamic mobility exercises
Please let the instructor know at the beginning of the class if you have any physical limitations, so they can guide you with suitable exercises. The class is suitable for all fitness levels. We also recommend it as a restorative session for those who train a lot.

Commercial Dance
The class will be organised at D-Dance's facilities, Askonkatu 9 E.
Commercial is a so-called commercial dance style that mixes techniques from many different genres, such as street dance and its subgenres, modern jazz dance and show dance, depending on the teacher's own dance background and style. Commercials make extensive use of musicality and accents, and inspiration for choreography is drawn from music videos, commercials and various TV productions. In Commercial classes, in addition to choreography, the students practice performance, expression and attitude.

Fitness boxing
The class will be held at the Lahti Kamppailulajikeskus, Sammonkatu 6.
In collaboration with local Boxing Lahden Kamppailulajikeskus, boxing classes offer various exercise themes and effective workouts! Doesn't matter whether you're a beginner or an experienced striker, because all exercises are expertly planned and instructed - all you need is a water bottle and indoor training shoes! In the class, exercises are done together with a partner. You can also come to class without a partner.
The nearest free parking to Kamppailajikeskus is in the Syke shopping center’s parking hall, where the first 2 hours are free.

A fun solo dance class where you dance to various Latin music rhythms with choreographies suitable for everyone.

Gymnastics
The class will be held on Viipurin Reipas gymnastics facilities in the Mustakallio civil defense shelter at Tunnelipolku 3 (parking area), 15140 Lahti.
The entrance to the gymnastics hall is the second door on the right in the tunnel when coming from the city center, next to the gymnastics sign.
Gymnastics classes practice body control and basic gymnastics techniques at levels suitable for everyone. These classes use the whole body in a variety of ways. You will also learn new ways to practice strength and mobility, in a good spirit while encouraging others.

Pilates is a versatile way to develop strength and mobility. The movements are mainly done on the floor and calmly, focusing on breathing. Pilates is suitable for people of all levels.

Weightlifting: Basics
This is Olympic Weightlifting class for beginners. In this class we focus on weightlifting techniques (especially snatch and clean & jerk). You may have little or no experience with lifting weights. You will receive individual guidance.

This is Olympic Weightlifting class for advanced/intermediate lifters. In this class we focus on developing your technique and progressively adding weight to the bar. The training program also includes auxiliary movements that you can perform after the guided class. You will receive individual guidance.

CrossFit
The class will be held at CrossFit Lahti's facilities in Saksala (Hiojankatu 5).
CrossFit training is varied and versatile. The foundation of the training is natural, functional movements for humans. Workouts combine bodyweight exercises such as push-ups and pull-ups, weighted movements like kettlebell exercises, gymnastics, barbell exercises such as squats, and aerobic conditioning exercises like rowing and running. You can easily get there by car or by bus number 6 from the city centre.

Salsa, first steps

Want to learn to dance the couple dance that is danced all over the world? Salsa has conquered every continent and major city. The dance has its roots in Latin America. Join us for an exciting and fun class where you will learn to dance salsa from the very beginning. You don't need a previous dance background. In this class, we will learn to move to the rhythm of salsa, and perform a partner dance with a partner. This class is perfect for those who have never danced before. Classes are slow paced and progress at a leisurely pace. We will change partners in class, so you don't need a own partner to come to class.
