Time:  Buses to the City Hall depart from the main entrance of LUT at 13.00, 14.00 & 14.30. The event runs from 15:00 to 16:30/17:00.

The event includes a Lappeenranta city tour before heading to the event venue. Tour buses will depart at approximately 13.00 and 14.00, as they fill up. The last bus, departing at 14:30, will not include a city tour. 

Place: Lappeenranta City Hall (Villimiehenkatu 1, 53100 Lappeenranta). There is no arranged transportation back to the university.

Event description: The City of Lappeenranta and a bunch of partners invite you as a new student to a fantastic student event in Lappeenranta City Hall. We will serve you with an interesting programme, student offers and tips on things to do in Lappeenranta. Event is held in English. You are welcome to attend the event!

Housing Clinic for Newcomers (LUT & LAB) - Bring Your Own Device!
for all master’s & bachelor’s students in Finnish and international programmes and for exchange students (LUT & LAB)

LUT organizes a housing clinic together with LOAS and Lappeenrannan Asuntopalvelu in room 7339 (LUT University).
The aim of the clinic is to help students without permanent housing to get more information about their housing situation and about housing possibilities. New students can possibly find a roommate at the clinic to apply for an apartment together. 

Participating in the housing clinic doesn’t necessarily get the student an apartment but helps to figure out possible solutions and clear out misconceptions about the housing situation in Lappeenranta.
