Study attainments included in a doctoral degree may not date back more than seven years. On special grounds an exception can be made, please see further information on the page Planning your studies. The expiration of studies after seven years should be taken into account especially if you intend to study part-time, which means that to complete your studies will take longer than the four-year target time.
Each doctoral student has to create a personal study plan (PSP) in Sisu after the right to study has been awarded.
