The scope and composition of studies
The scope of scientific postgraduate studies required for the doctoral degree is at least 30 ECTS credits and they must include studies related to your research field.
Students that have been awarded the right to study on August 1, 2026 or after that: Studies in this doctoral programme must include studies from the modules Researcher skills (min. 10 cr) and Skills for research impact (min 5 cr) that are common to all students.
Industrial Engineering and Management:
Students that have been awarded the right to study on August 1, 2026 or after that: There are two compulsory courses in the research field:
CS30AJ150 Doctoral Research Seminar in IEM (2 cr)
CS30AJ160 Advanced Qualitative Research Methods in IEM (5 op)
Social Sciences:
Students that have been awarded the right to study on August 1, 2025 or after that: There is one compulsory course in the research field: YTJ010000 Doctoral seminar in the social sciences (5 cr)
