Mikkeli unit operates in Sammonkatu 12 (lecture hall, laboratories and staff offices).

Opening hours at Sammonkatu 12

The main entrance (the door on the corner of Sammonkatu and Jääkärinkatu, the entrance to Rami´s cafeteria) is open Monday–Friday 7:30–16:00.

A separate access card is not required for the main entrance. Lectures are arranged in the meeting room 3 next to a lunch restaurant Rami. Visits to laboratories must be agreed separately with the staff.

Arrival at the Mikkeli unit

Sammonkatu 12

The Mikkeli unit of LUT University is located at Sammonkatu 12.

The unit is located less than two kilometers from the center of Mikkeli and Matkakeskus, which is the main station for both bus and train traffic.

The entrance for visitors is through the doors of Rami's cafeteria.

There are no separate parking areas. Parking on the side of Jääkärinkatu.

Restaurants

At Sammonkatu 12 there is a lunch restaurant Rami Sammonkatu. There are no student-priced lunches. Near Sammonkatu is the South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (XAMK). Some restaurants which offer student-priced lunch Monday–Friday, are located in the XAMK´s campus. 

Wellbeing and sport

The students of the Mikkeli unit can use Xamk sports and hobby services. You can find more information about Xamk Sports services here.  
 
The sports fee includes the gym, group exercises and ball games. You can pay the sports fee via the form here.
