Chemical Engineering - Work experience

Master's degree programmes in Chemical Engineering

In all master’s degree programmes in chemical engineering have 2 ECTS compulsory work experience in their core studies. In addition, students in chemical engineering master programmes can apply for additional max. 8 ECTS work experience in their elective studies. All of the work experience must be related to their own field of studies. Please note that both compulsory and additional work experience must be applied all at once with one application – otherwise the additional work experience credits are not granted.

If you are studying according to academic year’s 2023–2024 degree structure or any prior, you must change the old work internship course to work experience in your personal study plan. You get the new work experience course in your personal study plan by updating the work internship course version to the ongoing academic year.

If you have any issues with Sisu or you have any questions, please contact your study counsellor.

Students in chemical engineering programmes have to return the work experience application and the report with all the attachments in the Moodle. Please see “Work experience coordinators for each degree programme” here.
