Your LUT account will include an email address, which for LUT students is in the following format: firstname.lastname@student.lut.fi 

The email account is a Microsoft Exchange type account.

You can access your email at https://www.lut.fi/mail or https://portal.office.com/ or by using the outlook application. 

You can log in with your LUT account, in this case you must use your email and password.

You can download the Microsoft 365 Office ProPlus software package here.

You can also add your Microsoft Exchange student email account to another email application, such as Gmail, by selecting "Exchange and Office 365" when adding the account.

For IMAP:

• Server: outlook.office365.com
• Port: 993
• User name: your email address (@student.lut.fi)
• Security: SSL/TLS
• Auth method: OAuth2

For SMTP:

• Server: smtp.office365.com
• Port: 587
• Security: STARTTLS
• Auth method: OAuth2
• Username: your email address
