Time: Busses leave 13/13.30-14.30. The event starts at 15 in the city centre.

Place: Lappeenranta City Hall (Villimiehenkatu 1, 53100 Lappeenranta). Buses leave in front of the LUT main entrance between 13.30 pm and 14.30 pm. The event will be organized from 14.30 pm to 16 pm in Lappeenranta City Hall. There is no arranged transportation back to the university, but attendees will receive a bus ticket for local bus to get back to the university. 

Event description: The City of Lappeenranta and a bunch of partners invite you as a new student to a fantastic student event in Lappeenranta City Hall. We will serve you with a surprise programme, student offers and tips on things to do in Lappeenranta. Event is held in English. You are welcome to attend the event!

Housing Clinic for Newcomers (LUT & LAB) - Bring Your Own Device!

for all master’s & bachelor’s students in Finnish and international programmes and for exchange students (LUT & LAB)

LUT organizes a housing clinic together with LOAS, Lappeenrannan Asuntopalvelu and MITRA in room 7339 (LUT University).
The aim of the clinic is to help students without permanent housing to get more information about their housing situation and about housing possibilities. New students can possibly find a roommate at the clinic to apply for an apartment together.  

Participating in the housing clinic doesn’t necessarily get the student an apartment but helps to figure out possible solutions and clear out misconceptions about the housing situation in Lappeenranta.
