Finland’s longest May Day celebrations are already on their way, are your overalls’ missing the library’s cat or dog patch? Not to worry, you can get your own in the Academic Library’s May Day overalls patch hunt. The overalls patches can be found at Lappeenranta and Lahti campus libraries Mon to Fri from 20th to 30th of April 2026.

We will publish clues about the stashes on our Instagram account (@academiclibrary) every weekday around 10 a.m. and you can ask our staff for hints. There is a limited number of patches available daily, so be quick!

Please take other library users into consideration when hunting for the patches. Finding the stashes won’t require moving objects, acrobatics, or any other special effort.
