You can renounce your right to study in writing by returning the signed form to the Student Customer Services by email to opinto@lut.fi.

The renouncement is binding and it cannot be revoked. Your right to study is marked as terminated in Sisu, starting from the receipt of the form by the student services.

You can only be granted a new right to study through the university’s standard application process.

The notification on the renouncement is study-right specific and pertains to the study right specified on the form and any related study rights.  Therefore, if you give up your right to study for a bachelor’s degree, this renouncement also pertains to the related right to complete a master’s degree.
