When all modules in the personal study plan is closed, it is easy to see if any warning triangles or exclamation points appears in the study plan, showing missing selections.

To the right side of the section, you can se the state of the section (4) and selected credits (5)

If the state of the section says selection done and there are an exclamation point (6) Or a warning triagle (7) in front of it, this means that some choices are still to be done, and the personal study plan is NOT in order!.

A warning triangle is shown if the section is closed, and exclamation point is shown, if the section is open, at the place where there are selections still missing.

In this sample, under Interchangeable studies, selection is missing, having done the choice, the state of the module is selection done.

In the module is shown the state of selections (8), the study assistant displays the rule of the level (9), possible instruction text (10), and selectable courses and modules (11). By clicking on a slider next to the name of the selection you can add the selection to your plan. On the figure below the minor studies level has the rule select one, which means that only one object can be selected to the study plan at once. After selecting, one or more new levels will be displayed on the study plan view (12). The new levels may also require selections.  

In the example, the minor module Energy Economics includes alternative courses. Selections have to be made according to the rule, which means, in this case, at least 12 credits has to be selected (13). Selected courses will be displayed under the level. When the needed choices are done, the state changes to selections done. (14) The selection assistant will notice if a course is already selected somewhere in the plan – in this case  the course cannot be selected elsewhere (15).

After closing the Module, if no exclamation point or warning triangle appear, then the module is okay. 

Note – A module may include a course with a variable credit-yield, such as Electronics laboratory  work 3-6 cr. For technical reasons Sisu calculates this kind of courses to the rule according to the  upper limit of the credit range. For example, the course Electronics laboratory work would be calculated as a 6-credit course.
