Topic of the Master's thesis in Technology

The topic of the master’s thesis is often determined by the company for which the work is carried out. Sometimes a student may suggest a topic when applying for a position.

Students must submit the topic and the first examiner of the thesis as early as possible after starting the work.

The topic is not necessarily the final title of the thesis. It usually takes shape as the work progresses.

Title of the master’s thesis

Make sure you

  • give your master’s thesis a clear title that describes it concisely
  • avoid titles that run into several rows and contain abbreviations
  • do not include confidential information or the company’s name in the title

Further information on the topic and title are available from the first thesis examiner and in the thesis instructions
