Orientation in August 2025 @ LUT University, Kouvola

Orientation days for master's degree students starting their studies @ LUT Kouvola campus in autumn are organized from 28th to 29th of August 2025.

Orientation is compulsory for all new students! Orientation will be provided on-campus.
Newcomers should participate in orientation on-campus.

10.00 Studies @LUT 
11.00 Lunch and coffee
12 - 14 Introduction to Studies, Personal study plan and Course enrolments (students are divided into program-specific groups)
14.15 - 15 Personal Study Plan Q & A (students are divided into program-specific groups)

Friday 29th of August 2025

9.00 University welcome speech
10.00 Get to Know the Kouvola Regional Unit
11.00 Introduction of Student Guilds
12.00 Lunch
13.00 Joint Activity

Before you can enrol for the courses:  

1. Pay your Student Union fee (if you have not paid online beforehand)  

• For exchange students the fee is voluntary: https://ltky.fi/en/for-students/exchange-students/

2. Get your username and password (if you did not get it online beforehand)
