Housing
Every exchange student is responsible for applying for and finding their own accommodation. You should start applying for housing as soon as you get your acceptance letter (you will need to attach this to the application).
Note that housing companies usually will make you only one housing offer so it is highly recommended to accept that offer, if you wish to have an apartment by the time your studies begin.
Make sure you are applying housing in the correct study city. Campus information is mentioned in the your application and letter of acceptance.

Insurances
All students are responsible for their own insurance arrangements and we strongly recommend you to take a comprehensive insurance for your stay in Finland. Before leaving your home country, please check your travel and health insurance. Remember to bring the valid insurance policy with you!
As an exchange student your healthcare services in Finland are provided either through public or private sector depending on the country you come from and your insurances. It is also recommended that you have a valid health care insurance during your whole stay in Finland.
