The scope and composition of studies

The scope of scientific postgraduate studies required for the doctoral degree is at least 30 ECTS credits and they must include studies related to your research field.

Students that have been awarded the right to study on August 1, 2026 or after that: Studies in this doctoral programme must include studies from the modules Researcher skills (min. 10 cr) and Skills for research impact (min 5 cr) that are common to all students.

Sustainability Science: It is recommended that students complete min. 10 cr of studies related to their own research field. Please discuss the suitability of studies to be included in this study group with your coordinating supervisor.
