Funded international internships need always be included in the degree. Follow the instructions of your degree program and send the required internship documentation to the internship coordinator of your degree program to have the internship included into your degree. Please note that the internship guidelines of the degree program apply to both domestic and internship abroad.

If you have received a scholarship from LUT for your internship abroad, you need to finalise your internship in LUT Mobility-Online once you have returned to Finland. See instructions below.

Finalizing your internship in LUT Mobility-Online

• Placement report - complete the online form in LUT Mobility-Online.

• Work certificate - Please ask the certificate from your host organization before your return. Upload the certificate in LUT Mobility-Online. The certificate needs to have exact start and ending date of your stay, also possible remote work part needs to be addressed, tasks to you have done and it needs to be signed (and stamped) by the host organization.

• Your LUT transcript, which shows your approved internship credits

• An internship report submitted to your degree program (degree programme instructions/templates)

• Students participating Erasmus+ programme need to complete also an EU Survey within 30 days after receiving the invitation by email

Note!

• After the internship, follow the instructions of your degree program and make sure that the internship coordinator registers your internship credits in Sisu. International Mobility Services do not award credits.

• Incomplete documentation and changes to plans may result in grant reimbursement.

• If there are any changes to the internship plan that affect your grant, we will have new grant agreement and your already paid grant will be reviewed. If you have received too much grant, you will have to return the part of the grant to which you are not entitled.
