The regular fee for the Master's Double Degree studies is 13 500 EUR per academic year. The admitted students (nominated by LUT partners) can be offered the following scholarships:

• 100% Tuition Fee Waiver
• Scholarship of 6 000 € (discount on tuition fee)
• FULL Scholarship 

100% scholarship or 6000 € scholarship are awarded for one academic year and if not able to graduate within that one academic year, you still have an option the same scholarship for the third semester, i.e. a 100% Tuition Fee Waiver or a scholarship of 3000 €. After the third semester, you are required to pay a full tuition fee for every semester your continue your studies.

Full Scholarship - 100% Tuition Fee Waiver + 560 €/month for 10 months during the academic year for living expenses in Finland. All the Master's Programmes are not offering Full Scholarships. An extremely limited number of Full Scholarships offered on the whole LUT level.

The Full Scholarship is awarded for a maximum of one academic year. If you are not able to graduate within one academic year, you can still have a 100% Tuition Fee Waiver for the third semester. After the third semester, you are required to pay a full tuition fee.

Preliminary statements about anybody's possibility for getting a scholarship cannot be given as it all depends on the other applicants as well.

Note: If choosing to let go of your study place in your home university before graduating from LUT University, you will lose your LUT Scholarship.

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master SARENA -SAfe and REliable Nuclear Applications- is a two-year international MSc in nuclear engineering, waste management, and reactor safety, delivered by a European consortium of top technical universities. Fully taught in English and offering Erasmus Mundus scholarships, SARENA prepares students for high-impact careers in the nuclear sector.

The tuition fee payments for the two year program are handled by the coordinating University IMT Atlantique. If your studies continue at LUT after the two SARENA years, you are required to pay the regular tuition fee to LUT for each starting semester.

The program is realized at 3 Full Higher Education Institution Partners from 3 European Union countries: Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WUST) Poland, University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) Spain, Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology (LUT) Finland.

The EMJM-SBBE is the 2 years (4 semesters) program in the field of chemical engineering. It  corresponds to 120 ECTS credits.

Scholarships are offered to elected students by Erasmus Mundus Association. After the fifth semester all students are liable to pay the regular LUT tuition fee.

This information applies to you, if your are nominated to LUT-LUH double degree programme by Leibniz University Hannover. With your admission decision, you will receive information about a possible LUT tuition fee scholarship. 

With the offered tuition fee scholarship, you may continue your studies at LUT until the fifth semester without additional LUT tuition fee. In case your studies at LUT continue after the fifth semester, you are required to pay the tuition fee of 7500 EUR to LUT for each starting semester.
