The IT Services is responsible for the management of all telephone and information network systems at LUT University.

Service Desk helps students e.g. in the following matters

The students' IT support services serve the students of LUT and LAB. Exceptions to opening hours are announced on this website.

 

Online meetings by appointment

You can book a 15-minute remote appointment with Student IT Support Services during which you can get help with your IT problem (remember that we mainly only help with LUT account problems). Appointments are carried out using the Microsoft Teams program.

How to book a service time for an online meeting

  1. Book an appointment here: https://book.ms/b/StudentITSupportServices@lut.onmicrosoft.com
  2. Soon after you make an appointment, you will receive a booking confirmation to your email address. That message also includes a link to join the online meeting.
  3. Arrive at the appointment well in advance and wait in the meeting’s lobby until we accept you to join the meeting.

LUT account problems and other IT problems cannot always be resolved immediately and in such situations we will yet contact you after the online meeting. During an online meeting, for example, you can share with us your desktop and show us what kind of error message you get when you try to log in to one of our services.

Please remember that Student IT Support Services does not provide software support or support for using your own device, for example with page numbers in Word or a hard drive problem on your computer, we cannot help.
