Structure of the study plan and functionalities - Sisu
On the top level of the plan structure is the name of the education (1). The next level in the plan is degree programme(s). Education can have one or two levels of degree programmes. The education including only master’s or post graduate studies include one level and studies consisting both bache- lor’s and master’s studies include two levels. Under the degree programme (2) you can find study modules (3) such as core studies, specialization studies, minor studies, elective studies and language studies. Study modules consist guiding grouping modules and courses (4). By clicking the arrow next to the title of the level you can hide or bring into view the contents of the level.
If the student has been instructed to complete complementary studies, a separate study plan should be created to the separate study right.
The selected education and curriculum period for the plan is mentioned under the name of the plan. Usually it is recommended to select the curriculum period according the the start of the studies. The curriculum period for the degree programme, study modules and courses can be selected from any of the periods after that. For example if the curriculum period for the plan is autumn 2017 degree pro- gramme period can be for example 2019-2020. Further instructions from here
